Dilworth is charming, walkable and cozy focused on the local, unique Charlotte flavor. This area has a way of bringing in the new and authentic vibe. Dilworth was the first suburb in Charlotte that used streetcar transportation. Additionally, if you like to be close to your doctor, this is the perfect neighborhood, as it is home to the largest hospital in the Charlotte area. Dilworth is also known for its organic focus in food and its boutique shops. Many of these shops and restaurants are staged in homes and not commercial like buildings.
Local Hot Spots
You aren’t really in Dilworth if you haven’t hit the many places off East Blvd. Some spots that we love:
Dilworth Tasting Room- Sip on a wide array of pours and small plates at this cozy wine bar.
Sassy Nails- Sassy’s has a great environment with the friendliest staff, not to mention the wine and margaritas.
Barry's Boot Camp- Is an intense 45 minute workout that also provides a changing rooms, fuel bar, grooming products, complimentary towels, shopping, lockers and hot showers. We frequent here at least 3 times a week.
Bakersfield Taco Tequila Whiskey- Plugs at the bar, for your phone! That’s all we need. The drinks are great and a chill vibe for after work and weekend joy. You must try the cheese dip and add chorizo!
Apartments, coffee, and food. If it isn't obvious to see by now, apartments and complexes are appearing all over Charlotte to meet the demand. Dilworth is no different.
Quality of Life
Life in Dilworth is calm and laid back from the Tree-lined streets to the amazing restaurant scene this neighborhood is as good as it gets. Residents can enjoy tons of shopping opportunities within Kenilworth Commons and Park Square retail plaza.
